Could these be hidden cameras? Or just smoke detectors?

Here’s a rewrite:

My friend is staying in her supervisor’s ADU, and they’ve been making some strange comments about her habits at home. The thing is, we live in totally separate buildings, so it’s making us feel a bit uneasy. I’m just wondering if these detectors look suspicious to anyone. The place she’s staying in seems like a small container home with just one bedroom, and I’m not sure if it really needs this many detectors for such a tiny space.

They look like regular smoke detectors to me.

Oh no, not this again… why is this coming up so often?

I think they’re just CO detectors placed lower down. Could be good to check if that’s the case.

Classic… another daily conspiracy post.

If you’re looking for hidden cameras, I’d check somewhere else. These seem fine.

The second one is just a First Alert smoke detector, no cameras there. The others just have a flashing light every so often, that’s normal. If you’re not sure about the ones you have, maybe replace them with new ones.

Those are just hidden smoke detectors, nothing else to worry about.

I had the same model as the one in the second picture. It’s probably legit. You could cover the others and see if anyone notices anything weird.

Same here, looks just like mine. No cameras.

They look like normal smoke detectors, but they could have been modified to include cameras.

Just take the covers off and check inside. It’s not hard.

I’m sure they are cameras, check your outlets and light fixtures too, they could be hiding cameras there as well.

It’s always good to make sure your smoke detectors are working, the test light should flash every now and then. If you have two detectors in the same room, it could be that they are bugged!

YES, exactly! I was thinking the same thing.

These look like expired smoke detectors to me. You should check the expiration date on the back of them.
