Unknown people ringing our door in pairs – should we be concerned?

They’re probably handing out information about their church.

Thank you.

I’ve never had this happen in other countries, not even once with a stranger.

The other commenter is likely right.

@Drew
I hope so.

Could be Jehovah’s Witnesses. Either way, probably best not to engage.

So you’re saying you don’t want 200 new rules to follow on top of the daily stresses we already have?

@Wynter
Haha, I could maybe handle that, but the persistent follow-ups are a bit too much.

What does “perform a stunner” even mean?

Try putting up a “no trespassing” sign. Most hardware stores sell them, and they’re specifically meant to discourage door-to-door solicitors. People like mail carriers or delivery drivers are still allowed, but others should get the hint and stay away.

If someone without a valid reason still knocks, they could face legal consequences.

@Cameron
The condo has already put one up, and we’ve reported this issue, but it seems local police don’t respond unless there’s a more serious incident.

Wyze cameras are pretty affordable, so you can set up a few around the house with overlapping views. Just two or three on a corner can cover a full 270° area.

Could also be campaigners. It’s close to Election Day, so people are often out canvassing for their candidate.
