Wow, an actual camera on an ‘is this a camera?’ post. Finally!

Feels like Dumb & Dumber; ‘So you’re telling me there’s a chance!’ because most of these questions turn out to be regular outlets. But this really seems like a spy camera—probably low resolution, poor quality, classic 90’s hidden camera stuff.

Definitely call the police and let them check it out!

Yeah, definitely a camera. This forum is full of people doubting it.

Update us after you file a police report!

If you go to this link: 4K Ultra HD WiFi Functional GFCI Receptacle Outlet Hidden Camera - SpygearGadgets and zoom in on the ground prong hole, you’ll see the same odd look.

And ignore any jokes here—this is actually something to be concerned about.

What happens if you plug something in? Will it hit the lens or fit like normal?

I’d be forcefully inserting a three-prong plug in there just to see.

The eBay listing says: ‘You can still use the outlet like usual, including GFCI functions.’

@Val
I saw one where they suggested plugging in a two-prong item so it can’t be used for recording.

How did you even notice this? Wouldn’t someone just plug something in eventually?

She mentioned in other posts that she has a stalker and her apartment was broken into. So she got a camera detector, which picks up on signal waves and has an infrared light. When you shine it, cameras reflect back, which this one did.

Really creepy.
