How big is your home? If you’re in an apartment, neither of these are a good choice.

If your home is a small Pacific island in 1943, though, perfect choice.

Exactly. I own an AR-10 in .308, but it’s not my go-to for home defense. Almost picked up an M1A Socom, but my house isn’t 600 yards wide, so…
@Ainsley
But is it 600 yards deep…?

That’s a question for your mom.

Just asked. She left me on read.

And also about a decade ahead in tech, at least compared to what was actually being used then.

Unless you live in the middle of a cornfield, neither of these make sense.

Important questions!

People always say this. Everything goes through walls in an apartment. AR or 5.45 is still a better choice.
@Presley
.308 vs buckshot. Which one takes out the neighbor?

Maybe both lol.

Fair point. Depends on the apartment layout.

If we’re talking about stopping power, it’s all about shot placement. A stray round is bad news no matter what.

I live in an apartment and I use a 6.5 Creedmoor for home defense.

Let your neighbors know they should invest in body armor.
@Ainsley
Lmao, I’m kidding. I actually have a 9mm and .45 ACP.

Yeah, my condo shares a wall, so I’d be real careful shooting 9mm… but I’ve been training a lot, so I don’t think I’d miss too much.
