A dog was recently stolen from his home (video) what would you do?

A dog named Lucky was stolen from his home a few days ago in Catalonia and hasn’t been found yet. His owners are really upset, but the police aren’t doing much, even though they know who owns the van and who was driving it. Here’s the security video shared by the dog owner. What would you do if this happened to you?

Looks like these guys missed watching John Wick.

I would track them down and get my dog back

The dog looks so friendly. His tail was wagging. I don’t have a dog like that though. I have two German shepherds that bark like crazy when anyone comes to the door. They’ve scared a lot of people (but I feel safe with them around for protection). I don’t leave my dogs outside when I’m not home either. Some dogs can also be trained for protection. Hope Lucky is found and returned to his owners.

@Hutton
People are saying maybe the dog trusted the guy over time.

@Hutton
My dog is pretty much useless for guarding, he’s got a big bark but just wants affection.

I can handle a lot, but if anyone touches my family, and yes, my pets are family, I’ll be the one going to jail.

It turns out the van owner wasn’t involved, it was an employee who did it. That person has been fired but isn’t telling the police where the dog is. Unfortunately, here pets are treated like property, so it’s not seen as a serious crime. The justice system in Catalonia and the police are a joke, definitely not like in the US.

@Finnian
In California, dogs are considered property too. We can’t shoot to protect them, even though gun laws here are messed up.
